How strokes can occur

Strokes occur when a blockage occurs that blocks blood flow to the brain, or a blood clot bursts in an area of the brain. As a result of the lack of blood flow the part of the brain that is affected can become damaged and in some cases can even die. Strokes can cause long term issues that might see the individual needing support from those who work in Gloucester Support Worker Jobs as well as being a serious condition that can be fatal in some situations.

Hemorrhagic Stroke – these strokes occur when a blood vessel in the brain ruptures or starts to leak blood. This can happen when blood pressure gets too high or if aneurysms occur.

There are also cases of TIAs or transient ischemic attack which is a mini stroke that sees blood being blocked from the brain for a short period of time for usually no longer than five minutes.

It is important that if you experience the symptoms of a stroke, or you notice them in another person that you get them medical attention as soon as possible. Survival and recovery rates for strokes increase the quicker a persian receives appropriate medical support.
