Find out about briquetting machines

A biomass briquette machine is used to make fuel briquettes from waste biomass energy. A briquette machine is energy efficient and creates renewable energy sources. Biomass briquette machines can make fuel briquettes from bio energy, saving agriculture and forestry waste without adding any chemicals in the manufacturing process. This is a really eco-friendly technology that is a great way of producing zero carbon energy and protect the environment.

Briquette machines are able to create a green and healthy atmosphere of biomass briquette manufacturing. Biomass raw materials or agricultural waste such as ground nut shells, almond shells, bagasse, waste jute, coffee grounds, tea, rice husks, sawdust etc … are collected and incorporated into the biomass briquette machine under high mechanical pressure without using any chemical binding substances. So, it is known as a less technological method and the resulting briquettes are known as ‘white coal’ because they do not pollute when burnt. The energy efficient biomass briquettes are readily available to meet the current demand of fuel.

Briquette machines are also known as briquette makers or presses, which are machines that use a great deal of pressure to squeeze the biomass material into blocks of square or round sticks. Based on different operating principles, there are stamping types of briquette machine, hydraulic versions, as well as screw press machines.

The briquettes are generally made from wood waste, such as sawdust, wood shavings and agricultural waste, such as crop straw and bagasse, for example.

There are many advantages to using biomass briquettes. As the briquettes are pressed from waste biomass by strong pressure, the size is only 1/10 of the original material. It is compact and the calorific value of the concentration means a 40% higher efficiency in terms of combustion. On top of that, there is no smoke or ash produced when burning these briquettes, which makes them a substitute fuel resource in place of traditional fossil fuels, especially coal. Most of the biomass briquettes produced are for use in both the civil and industrial properties. Some wood briquettes are further processed into charcoal briquettes used for grills.
